Rebuilding the web site for A.M.O.K. has been a loit of fun and helping me to refocus my efforts in that direction. There is something that is so awesome about using your gifts to serve God. Don't limit yourself to known gifts though, try new things and see where God is leading. You may come to realize that God has put stuff in there that you never knew you had.
One guy comes to mind.
He used to have to have a couple of beers before he could stand up in front of people to announce songs as a mobile DJ because he was terrified to speak in public.
He refused to use a computer in his art because he thought it cheapened the process.
He harrassed a guy in his school mercilessly because the guy wanted to be a preacher.
I know this guy pretty well, because, well he's me.
I never thought I would ever be a preacher first because I thought it was a stupid thing to do when I was a kid (I used to think preachers existed to bilk old ladies out of their social security checks until God got a hold of me) and then as I got older I still would never have considered preaching because I was terrified to speak in public (God called me to preach and broke me of the drinking too). God had to bring that gift out of me and strangely enough he used my art ability to open the door. The computer used to bug me now I can't picture doing parts of my work without it. People all over the world have seen my work because of an invention the purist in me rejected out of hand.
What are you rejecting that God might be wanting to do through you? Check it out, try new things, you never know what God wants to do with you. If you fail, write it off as an experiment and move on (unless God tells you to keep trying.) In His autobiography Billy Graham once said "and I knew at that moment I would never be a preacher." We all see how that turned out.

Creativity
Too many people say they have no creativity. What they mean is they can't paint or draw or maybe write or play music. Creativity is all of those things but it is so much more. The person who can nurse a broken car home with a few simple household items is creative. A person who can come up with a solution to a difficult problem is creative. A person who can see the good in a person put down by others is creative.
We are the children of the ultimate creator. His creativity is in us. When we take creativity out of the arts box and allow the creator to work through us we unleash the power fo God in our lives. Creativity...it's not just for artists anymore.
