Thursday, September 24, 2009 New Video on Communion
I have done some more graphics but the big thing this morning was to script and edit the above video on communion and it's ties to passover.

Tuesday and Wednesday, September 23 and 23, 2009
Well I'm still pigging out, spending a lot of time creating more and more pages for my project. (I will post it one day) I've also finished the writing for the project and a lot of the sound recording. Wednesday morning I began working on a project that has been on my heart for a long time. For almost as long as I have been in ministry I have had this leading to help people find their gifts and talents and helping them to use them to serve the Lord in the church and in the world. I've done a sermon series here, a workshop or seminar there, but I have never really had the opportunity to put it all together into something coherent...until now. I am beginning to compile all this information into a book as well as a series of messages that I am hoping to present to churches and conferences everywhere to really help and encourage every Christian I can to find their own niche in the body of Christ.
Here's where I need your help. The last chapter of the book and hopefully illustrations through out the book and the series will be a gallery of unusual ministries, i.e. people and teams using unique gifts and talents to serve the Lord in the church and in the world. I need your help to find those ministries. Please tell me about any ministries you can think of and if possible contact information on the people in charge so I can interview them for the chapter.

Thursday, September 17 through Monday September 21, 2009
Thursday evening I completed a mirror painting for a little boy in my church. Since he was a very small infant he has always been fascinated by my mirror painting called the point and his folks asked me to paint one for him. I did it differently than the point though. The Point shows the crucified Jesus painted on a full length mirror with a cartoon thought balloon above his head. That's the only place on the painting where the mirror is visible the point being when Jesus died on the cross you were on His ming. Well for little Ricky's room, I decided to go a different direction. Jesus holding a little boy on his lap with the same thought balloon. I figured that was a safer image for a two year old. His folks really liked it and he seemed to as well but he's two, so he was off to the next thing pretty quickly. lol I missed blogging the last few days but have no fear I was keeping up on the challenge. Most of my art time right now is spent on the super secret swine flu project but here's a preview of something created on Friday. It's just a clip but it shows I've been working. Between Friday night and Saturday morning I finished the writing of my latest sermon called Passover and the Three Names for Communion which was the message before my churches evening Lord's Supper service. I also adapted somethings for the evening service. Sunday morning I did another worship art piece that will be a short video posted later in the week and Sunday. I also constructed some new bulletin images and my project for today is a new New Creaturez cartoon which I inked this morning and will hopefully color and letter tonight.
