Well here I am back at the A.M. O.K. blog.
It's been a while. I am just logging in with a quick recommendation for all of you who have Itunes take a moment and download the Mosaic video podcasts. Pay particular attention to the art of life and the life's tough questions podcasts. They are phenomenal examples of using the arts in ministry.

Paper crafts tip. I have found a great way to make transparent graphics for your scrapbook pages, altered art, etc and it's cheap. You can use magazine photos, photocopies, of computer printouts. Print your images on plain white paper. paint over them with eight to twelve coats of ModPodge (available at nearly any craft store) allowing the ModPodge to dry between each coat. when the last coat has dried thoroughly, soak the image in water for a few sections and rub the paper off the back. You will be left with an image that, when dry, is transparent. Adhere it to your art with modpodge. it works really nicely.
